Howdy,
I received stellar news about Dragons Walk Among Us last week from Kirkus Reviews. My novel was chosen to be featured in the 9/1 issue of the magazine, which presumably will put my book in from the eyeballs of hundreds, thousands maybe, of librarians, book buyers, and others. Will this result in a sales bump? Who knows? But I am making the appropriate sacrifices to the authorial gods!

Regardless, having my debut receive what I consider a flawless review from Kirkus and subsequently being featured in the magazine are ginormous boosts to my writerly ego. I am currently floating on cloud nine in the state of nirvana.
